Description Four Bobbsey Twins books of the series from, 1913, 1934, 1936, and 1945. #5 in Bobbsey Twins Series. Paste-on picture cover is of Victorian costumed boy and girl in a daisy field with boy in blue sailor suit with white collar handing flower to girl. Straw hat lies alongside boy. Part of the picture is missing (scraped off, about the size of a quarter below where the boy and girl are sitting. Boards show through at corners. Spine beginning to separate from book at title page. Some moisture spotting on end pages. Pages of book yellowing. Some marks on back of book. 1 inch scraped edge bottom right front. Other edges smooth. Some soil on back cover and discoloration along spine. The Bobbsey Twins In Eskimo Land is number 29 in the series, contains b&w frontispiece, 218 pp., dust jacket is the old style with Freddie (in a sailor suit) and Flossie sitting next to a stream; Decorative endapers. On this copy the dj has chipping at all corners front and back and along the edges. Book has bumping on corners and wear to stop and bottom of spine. Pages are yellowed. The Bobbsey Twins Solve a Mystery has green pictorial boards w/ black design and lettering. VG, in edgeworn, dj. with color 40's picture of the twins holding a puppy.218 pp. Small state at outside bottom corner of papers. Chapters include: The Captain's secret, on the schooner, the tattooed man, in a storm, overboard, the treasure chest, Freddie's big fish and more. Slight wear and bumping at corners and top and bottom of spine. Dj has chips at corners and top of spine. Small closed tears at top back of dj. Small 1/8 inch piece missing from front fold. Back of dj slightly sunned. The Bobbsey Twins At Mystery Mansion has decorative endpapers, no writing, clean pages, tight spine. The Dj has tears and chips at corners and top and bottom of spine. Picture on front of Flossie and Freddie with Waggo. Pages clean, not yellowed.
